Culture Shock Extreme is an "extreme" missions trip launched by Network 21 Mission. When the directors of N21M first launched Culture Shock Extreme, the 11 month trip, it was a long awaited dream and vision of the founders, Rodney and Voni Johnston. From day one, when N21M started, all we wanted to do is get people out on a missions trip one way or another. The main statement behind Culture Shock Extreme is: If you give us one year, we expose you as many ministries and cultures and we strongly believe you will come back from the trip with one of two things: 1-know what God has made you for or 2-you will build a love for missions and the people around the world. Too many times people of influence tell us that they feel we were created to do something specific. Maybe that is exactly what we were created to do, and we don't want to be that person in someone's life. We feel that while you are on the trip that is forcing you to live on faith, hope, and love that you will have no choice but to listen for God's voice.

During the Culture Shock Extreme, you will be based in one region of the world at a time. While at that region, you will travel out from the bases to the different ministries and/or missionaries in that particular region. Depending on the region and the particular needs there at that time, will determind how many different countries you will encounter.
